Large specimens up to 250 x 200 mm and hard materials such as bones and teeth embedded in methyl-methacrylate can be sectioned. Typical medical research applications include the sectioning of whole organs such as brain or lung embedded in paraffin.

Milli-Q® Direct systems produce both pure (Type 3) and ultrapure (Type I) water directly from tap. The pure water is produced by reverse osmosis techniques designed and optimized by us before it is stored in a tank. Pure water can be sourced though a front valve of the tank or sent by a delivery pump to feed instruments such as a glassware washing machine, or further processed by the Milli-Q® Direct to produce ultrapure water.
The Gradient A10 produces Type 1 water of very high quality, suitable for applications such as spectroscopy, chromatography, and trace-level nutrient and contaminant sampling. The system is fed by water produced by an Elix Advantage system. Features a 4-step purification of lab water.
The Milli-Q® Integral system includes a comprehensive and optimized sequence of water purification and monitoring technologies in a single unit, allowing both pure and ultrapure water to be produced directly from tap.
