Multi-Purpose Potentiostat and Galvanostat. The AFCBP1 can be operated as either a three or four electrode potentiostat for use in many kinds of electrochemical experiments, including cyclic voltammetry, anodic stripping voltammetry, rotated  disk voltammetry, rotated ring-disk voltammetry, and interdigitized array experiments. It can also be operated as a two-electrode device for tracing the current-voltage characteristics of electrochemical systems.

The BioSprint 96 DNA Plant Kit is used with the BioSprint 96. The kit uses magnetic-particle technology for rapid DNA purification from plant material. The BioSprint 96 controls an array of magnetic rods that can attract or release magnetic particles and transfer them from well to well. The sequential transfer of magnetic particles allows a rapid purification procedure to be performed, from the initial binding of DNA to the particles, through to washing of the particles and elution of pure DNA.

The BluePippin has the DNA capabilities of the Pippin Prep, plus the extra benefit of pulsed-field electrophoresis for resolving and collecting high molecular weight DNA.  With SDS-agarose gel cassettes, the BluePippin collects targeted protein sizes from complex samples for biomarker or protein modification studies. Target sizes or ranges of sizes are entered in software, and fractions are collected in buffer. Up to 5 samples/gel cassette may be run, with no possibility of cross contamination.

The energy balance Bowen ratio (EBBR) system produces 30-minute estimates of the vertical fluxes of sensible and latent heat at the local surface. Flux estimates are calculated from observations of net radiation, soil surface heat flux, and the vertical gradients of temperature and relative humidity (RH). Meteorological data collected by the EBBR are used to calculate bulk aerodynamic fluxes, which are used in the Bulk Aerodynamic Technique (BA) EBBR value-added product (VAP) to replace sunrise and sunset spikes in the flux data.

C-Cell – A food structure image analysis instrument:

C-Cell enables food manufacturers to evaluate aerated food by taking a sample snapshot, for example a slice of bread or a piece of cake so that the internal or external features can be analyzed for information on its cellular structure. Data relating to size, shape and location of cells aid in establishing a blueprint for future production.

The C-Cell instrument was developed and manufactured in the UK by Calibre Control International and is used globally within the food industry to objectively analyze baked products to:
