Milestone’s DMA-80 Direct Mercury Analyzer is redefining mercury analysis. Many laboratories still employ Cold Vapor Atomic Absorption (CVAA) or ICP-MS as their mercury analysis techniques of choice, however, these techniques require sample preparation which can prove tedious, costly, and time-consuming. The DMA-80 on the other hand, requires no sample preparation and delivers results, comparable to those obtained on CVAA and ICP-MS, in as little as 5 minutes.
The system enables the operator to analyze for mercury in virtually any sample matrix – liquids, solids, and even gases - without the need for any sample preparation. This not only saves your laboratory time but can results in substantial cost savings – up to 70% when compared to CVAA.
An integrated, removable autosampler accommodates up to 40 samples for unattended operation. In addition, a total analysis time of approximately 5 minutes per sample will dramatically improve the laboratory’s turnaround time and ultimately, productivity.
