Taber Abraser Dual Model 5155

The Taber Rotary Platform Abraser (Abrader) is used to perform accelerated wear testing. Samples are mounted on a rotating turntable, and subjected to the wearing action of two abrasive wheels applied at a specific pressure. Features include two turntables; quick release wheel mounting; precision vacuum height adjustment; and 60 & 72 RPM speeds. Includes: CS-10 Calibrase wheel set (2 pr.); H-18 Calibrade wheel set (2 pr.); S-11 refacing discs (1 pkg.); S-36 specimen mounting card sample pack (10 pcs.); E100-125 specimen holder (2 each); E100-101 hold down ring (2 each); auxiliary weight set (4 each to achieve 500g and 1000g load); hex wrench; S-12 hand brush; and vacuum system. 115/230V, 60/50Hz switchable.
