Taber Abraser Dual Model 5155

The Taber Rotary Platform Abraser (Abrader) is used to perform accelerated wear testing. Samples are mounted on a rotating turntable, and subjected to the wearing action of two abrasive wheels applied at a specific pressure. Features include two turntables; quick release wheel mounting; precision vacuum height adjustment; and 60 & 72 RPM speeds.
