The Leica SM2500 large-scale, heavy-duty sectioning system is the standard microtome for sectioning hard and/or large-surface specimens. Large specimens up to 250 x 200 mm and hard materials such as bones and teeth embedded in methyl-methacrylate can be sectioned. Typical medical research applications include the sectioning of whole organs such as brain or lung embedded in paraffin.

The BEEI Nano DeBEE has the highest processing energy of any electric benchtop high-pressure homogenizer.  The laboratory scale Nano DeBEE allows users to easily adjust a wide variety of parameters to ensure the optimum process for excellent homogenization.  Pressure, flow and process duration are all independently controlled, and the BEEI homogenizing cell is the only high pressure homogenization technology that allows for control of process duration.  Likewise, the amount of cavitation, shear, and impact the sample is exposed to can be adjusted by varying the aforementioned control parame

Nano ITC Low Volume is engineered specifically to provide isothermal titration capabilities for applications with limited sample size. With the Nano ITC Low Volume, heat effects as small as 50 nanojoules are detectable with a short term noise level of 1.4 nanowatts in a sample cell volume of 190 μL. The Nano ITC Low Volume uses a solid-state thermoelectric heating and cooling system to precisely control temperature, and a unique removable syringe assembly for efficient and accurate delivery of titrant.
