The LI-8100A Automated Soil CO2 Flux System provides researchers sophisticated flux monitoring instrumentation in a dedicated system that is modular and easy to use. The System offers options of two short-term survey and two long-term chambers, in addition to the ability to multiplex up to 16 long-term chambers. LI-COR’s research in this area has resulted in better comprehension of soil CO2 flux measurement problems and system design requirements.

Among the current critical challenges facing veterinary microbiology is the need to obtain secure species identification of rare and challenging organisms in a timely manner. In particular, zoonosis by pathogens transmitted between animals and humans is a very serious threat in the daily veterinary routine.

The BX61 microscope has a built-in motorized Z-drive (0.01 m resolution), and can be equipped with a motorized nosepiece, condenser, reflected light or fluorescence illuminator, and up to three 6-position filter wheels in various locations. The sixteen handswitch buttons and eight frame buttons are fully programmable through a computer interface, and key configurations can be defined in the software.
